When you look back on your newborn photography experience, I want it to be something you remember fondly. You might be thinking, "Of course, it's my baby, so it will be a positive memory." I wish I could say the same about my own experience, and that’s exactly what led me to become a newborn photographer.

When my daughter was born in Virginia on a cold November day, I was eager to have newborn photos of her. Despite my mother’s advice, I bundled her up and drove to the mall, determined to capture some simple, classic black and white photos. But from the moment the photographer pulled out a dusty black cloth and placed my wide-awake baby on it, I knew it wasn’t going to go well. There was no time for soothing, no posing expertise, just a rushed process. My daughter looked like a tiny frog, arms and legs awkwardly outstretched, and I felt like I’d made a big mistake. It’s an experience I’ll never forget — for all the wrong reasons.

That’s why my mission is to give families the exact opposite experience. I come to you, bringing everything we need to create beautiful, relaxed photos. I take my time, gently soothing and posing your baby, all while you sit back and enjoy the comfort of your own home. You’re welcome to hover nearby if you’d like, but rest assured, your baby is in the most caring and gentle hands.

I strive to make the experience comfortable and enjoyable. I love giving parents a break while I coax those genuine smiles out of their little ones, or swaddling your newborn so you can take a breather. Most of all, I love connecting with people and capturing those fleeting moments of calm before life’s happy chaos takes over again.

As an on-location photographer based in South Florida, I’m always happy to travel to your home or any beautiful spot of your choice for our sessions.
