Miami Children Photography - Flower Field Photo Session

These sisters made the cutest little subjects to photograph. The photo session took place at Burr’s Berry Farm in the Redlands, in the Homestead area. Unfortunately, the sunflower field I had used a few weeks before was mowed down but there was another one that I was able to use. The downside was that this other field was out in the open and being 4:00pm the sun was still pretty bright. But we made it work with some backlit images and a reflector/scrim to add strategic shade. I love the results!

The younger girl is a little firecracker and the older one is a little chatterbox. She needed a little coaxing to walk into the field because something about the tall flowers scared her. At one point she was terrified of the idea, but it was nothing a lollipop couldn’t fix. Who knew a sunflower field could be such a scary place? On a serious note, sunflowers can be a little prickly and bees do love them, so beware when taking little ones into the field.
