Miami Newborn Baby Boy Photography

I am always honored when my clients choose me for both their Miami newborn pictures and Miami maternity pictures. Some women are hesitant to do a maternity session but I guarantee that no matter how you feel right now, one day you’ll look back and you’ll be so glad you did them. I myself did pictures with both of my pregnancies and I felt really pretty when I was pregnant, I’m so thankful I did them and I treasure those pictures even though some were really cheesy and some of my ideas were cringe worthy. Luckily for you, some picture trends have died and you can rest assured that your session will be nothing but tasteful and beautiful.

This beautiful mommy hired me for both of her sessions. We did her session at Matheson Hammock Park in Miami, the first half in the park and the second half in the lagoon. I love the way her pictures turned out and she was super happy with the way they turned out. Other public locations for maternity pictures in Miami are Key Biscayne and Crandon Park, although I’ve been known to shoot pictures in locations that to a non-photographer eye can look like nothing, but I can do magic with a little patch of tall grass.

For her newborn session she wanted pictures with my moon prop. I created some cute clouds to go along with my moon and I think the set came out dreamy. This baby boy was almost a month old and he was 10 lbs so quite a big boy. He gave me a bit of a hard time and mom was so stressed because he was colicky that we almost gave up on the pictures with the moon prop. In the end, it was dad to the rescue, mom took a little break and dad was the one that helped me sooth the baby and even assisted me in posing him on the moon. Some babies just need a little more time to settle down which is why I never rush my sessions because I know it’s all about patience and timing.
